The Nod

Dear Friends and Family,

Fantastic news!

As it turns out I did not have to wait too long for an email. Instead, the lead instructor from Palmer Sport called me personally and invited me to return for the second part of instructor training.

Next week I will report back to the Bedford Autodrome to work through a full event day with clients.

Hope you are doing fantastic this has made my day.

Michael

Saw your post on the Speed TV forum and took a look. Hopefully encouraging story: A grade school friend of mine started in karting and never gave up his dream. He worked as a mechanic, taught at driving schools, and kept looking for a ride. He wound up rookie of the year at Indy and had 6 more Indy starts. The motor racing business ultimately is part of the entertainment business and that's a hard business to break into--lots of people making small money on the bottom and a few making huge money on the top. But difficult is not impossible. I admire your pluck. Keep it up.
